I think you've got something going here for this live action movie, the cast is coming along nicely (Comeon, Summer Glau will attract all the Firefly fans! Who doesn't want to see River Tam kick zombie ass?) If this movie is even the most tiny bit possible, I say go for it! I'd pay to see it ;) On the other hand, I think Valve should make an animated version as well. They have gotten great reviews in the Team Fortress commercials they made and the "Meet The..." vid clips. They have the talent and the demand, so what's stopping them? If they're not going to make their movie based game into an actual movie, they should at least show us some more of that animated goodness :) But I digress...
